How to Store Cream Glue and Keep Nozzles Usable
Storage affects texture, flow and curing reliability. The package directions take priority because formulas differ, but every tube benefits from a clean seal, stable temperature and clear identification of when it was opened.
Before opening
Keep tubes sealed in the temperature and light conditions stated on the package. Avoid cars, windowsills and damp rooms where temperature changes are large. Rotate older stock forward rather than opening several similar colors at once.
After each project
Release pressure from the tube, wipe the outlet using the recommended method and close it promptly. Remove and clean reusable nozzles only as directed for that formula. Never return leftover material from a work surface to the tube.
Label your supplies
Write the opening date on the package and keep its instructions. If colors look similar, label caps rather than repeatedly opening tubes. Store small parts separately so charm dust does not enter the nozzle.
